News : Lesha Bank Records Net Profit of QAR 123.7 million for H1 2026, Reflecting 50.1% Year-on-Year Growth

Lesha Bank Group announced its financial results for the six-month period ended 30 June 2026, reporting a net profit of QAR 123.7 million attributable to equity holders, a 50.1 % increase on the same period last year.

The Bank delivered strong growth across its key financial metrics during the period. Assets Under Management (AUM) increased to QAR 19.2 billion, representing a 78% year-on-year growth, driven by continued expansion across its investment and asset management businesses. Total investments grew by 27.6% to QAR 4.7 billion compared with the same period in the previous year. As at 30 June 2026, total assets reached QAR 11.1 billion, reflecting a 53.9% increase year-on-year, primarily attributable to higher investment activity. Sustained profitability strengthened the Bank’s capital position, with total equity attributable to bank increasing to QAR 1.54 billion, representing a 11.1% year-on-year increase. Customer deposits rose by 78.8% to QAR 5.6 billion, demonstrating strong investors’ confidence and funding growth. Total income for the period amounted to QAR 239.1 million, supported by higher fee-based and dividend income, resulting in a 105.9% year-on-year increase.

Key performance indicators remained robust, with return on equity (ROE) of 16.2% and return on assets (ROA) of 2.6%. Book value per share stood at QAR 1.38, while annualized earnings per share (EPS) amounted to QAR 0.221, highlighting the Bank’s solid financial performance and commitment to long-term value creation for shareholders.
