Lesha Bank is pleased to announce the proposed acquisition by its subsidiary LB for Educational Services WLL (a company registered with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry) of 51% of the issued share capital of Sharaka Education Holdings WLL, a Qatari company engaged in the education sector and operating a number of outstanding schools in Qatar.
The acquisition is at a price of QAR 192,483,746.
Subject to the satisfaction or waiver (if applicable) of the relevant conditions precedent, including obtaining the necessary regulatory approvals and consents, the acquisition is expected to be completed in Q2 2026.
