Salman joined Lesha Bank in 2026 as Group Chief Risk Officer (GCRO), bringing 25 years of senior risk leadership experience from some of GCC’s most prominent financial institutions. He combines strategic vision with deep technical expertise and demonstrates a track record of enterprise-wide risk transformation.
joining Lesha Bank, Salman served as Chief Risk Officer at Doha Bank Q.P.S.C. He has also held senior roles including Vice President and Head of Enterprise Risk Management at Bank Al-Jazira in Saudi Arabia, Head of Risk Analytics & Portfolio Management and Project Director for Basel II IRB implementation at Al-Rajhi Bank, Senior Director of Financial Industry Advisory Services at Alvarez & Marsal Arabia, and roles at SAMBA Bank and NIB Bank in Pakistan.
Salman holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from the University of Karachi and is a CA (Inter) and ACCA (Part III) qualified professional.
