Sheikh Dr. Walid Bin Hadi

Shiekh Dr Walid is one of the leading scholars in the field of Islamic finance, with a Ph.D. degree in Comparative Islamic Jurisprudence. He started his professional career at the Sharia Court in Qatar. He now serves as the chairman of the Sharia Supervisory Boards of many financial institutions, including QIB Group, Masraf Al-Rayan, and QIIB. He is also a member of Shariah Advisory Boards of Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI). Sheikh Walid has authored many books on Islamic jurisprudence, contemporary commercial transactions, and Qur’an interpretation. He has also participated in many national and international conferences and  seminars on Islami jurisprudence and finance.
